I don't know. There's too much missing information. I'd like forensics to explain more for starters. And no witnesses?? That's odd too.
Giving the officers the benefit of the doubt, this kid might have had a gun on him that the police missed, and he may have been trying to ditch it and shot himself accidentally in the effort. Considering he was already under arrest getting rid of a gun he (may have) had on him would have kept the charges down to a dull roar. Sounds like a stretch but when people feel cornered or desperate, they stretch.
I will tell you this happens. That is a very large hand gun the guy kept, and he made it all the way to the interrogation room. So this is very believable.
Are you saying the cops shot him? Ballistics should tell that. Unless they shot him and planted a gun they happened to be carrying in their trunk for whatever reason. How the heck do tow seperate guys miss him having a gun after searching him. If I were a cop at the jail I'd be wondering what the hell those idiots were doing myself. He coulda just as easily walked in there and shot the place up.
So black males sneak guns into police cars and commit suicide at a higher rate than everyone else. I've never heard that stat.
Same here. That being said, you guys living between Oregon, Washington, and the Northeast have some trigger happy cops.
