Oh, here we go...........the Liberal "you want to throw granny off the cliff". (Cue to chest beating).

Considering many of those children one step from starvation have video games, big screen TV's and get fed at school, your argument just looks foolish.

Listening to Mr. Romney ... it's not the Government which creates jobs. Private industry does that. I think that most people who are employed today understand that their employer has increased the workload and not hired additional staff when business warrants it. And I think most reasonably intelligent people understand that our economy is part of a worldwide economy and impacted by developments around the world. We're not an island to ourselves. People who are working aren't spending money like they once did. They're fearful, and they're holding onto what they have and spending only what they have. Consumer confidence is still low. And not until consumers start spending once again will employment improve significantly. And, too, most people who took Civics or Government in high school understand that in our system of government it takes the cooperation of all branches of government to formulate and put into practice policies, economic and otherwise, which help to improve things. A leader can do only so much, particularly so if people who are supposed to be on the same team do their darndest to make this nation fail. The President hasn't been "great," but he's been "pretty good" considering the facts.

Yeah I'm sure the lobbying by the rich had nothing at all to do with bailout. Poor helpless bankers! Whatever could they possibly do when confronted by mean pols who only wanted to make sure they got to keep their second vacation home and private planes! Why they're certainly more deserving of public handouts than poor people who will only spend the money on drugs!

Do you guys really believe this or do you just pretend you do?

Here's Romney whining about paying taxes on his 12 mil beach house:

I think that was a satire comment because we all know Romney has never struggled to pay taxes. He might of struggled to find the most loopholes to pay little to nothing in taxes.

Oh here we go, you Cons like to think that a smaller percentage of people that have these things must mean all poor people are rich and can afford whatever they want right now. Sorry if reality sucks, but we use to live in an era without these safety nets and our country did have children starving to death and large shanty towns in just about every city....but I guess it is easier for a Con to ignore history and pretend getting rid of things that prevent that and we somehow won't go back to those situations.

Sir. I think you cheapen yourself, by being insulting, with your silly civics lesson. I understand you would like your alluded to civics lesson to shift the blame, somewhere else. So, what else is new with this administration?

What the GDP number, in particular, was about, is leadership. It is about the leadership that it takes to set the proper priorities, in the correct order, given circumstances, then lead to success. Mr Obama chose to metaphorically fiddle, for two years. First fiddling via the ill conceived, ill executed stimulus. next he chose to focus on a goodies front-end loaded, back-end tax loaded, mammoth healthcare bill. He had both branches - a packed court in effect - of the Congress with which to tackle our most pressing economic problems, effectively. He did not. Now is not the time to blame Sally, or Billy, like some child.

Mr Obama had two years with complete and utter control. Due to his inexperience, he chose wrongly, executed poorly. That cannot be blamed on any other person, party or group.

snort.

The only shanty towns in America have been set up by stinking nasty Occupy Wall Street types who poop on police cars.

The really sad thing about you liberals is you dont even have a clue what caused the economic meltdown in the first place. That isnt suprising as your fearmongering leader clearly doesnt either!

you are giving Bammer more credit than he deserves. Dude did exactly what he planned on doing. It is not inexperience it is a blatant mis-understanding of how an economy works. Even in failure he is committed to the same ideas. They dont work. they didnt work for him and he remains committed to wrongheaded economic principles. That is either an indication of insanity or stupidity...or something even worse.
