I wish the USSR would have taken over Afghanistan. The U.S basically created the Taliban to fight the USSR. Once again, for whatever reason, we always take the Islamists side over the secularists. It was true then. It is true today (Egypt, Libya, Syria, etc.).

A major step in our ruination.

I don't think we went to "war" with Gaddafi, didn't lose 3000 lives, did not last 10 years, honestly can you ever look at something objectively.

By the way Iraq may very easily go back to where they were, don't want to see it but it would be one more reason why we should have not gone to war.

Yes good Muammar is gone, seems like Somalia or Darfur would have been the better choice if your into wars against ruthless dictators.

I think there are multiple African countries are under the same dictatorship, they need help to. When will America send its troupes?
Yes, American leaders and the MAJORITY of the world felt he needed to go away. He could have gone peacefully and lived a decent life, but he chose poorly.
You need to read where are people are. I have many friends in Indonesia, Africa, Asia, Middle East taking care of bad people, and helping the undeserving of terrible dictators. So, dont go there. We even are after that Kobe? guy who is a horrid dictator.. You just dont see it on CNN/NBS/ABC/CBS. My Brothers/Sisters are in harms way because people ask for us to help out. Look at some of the crap holes are people are..
So, dont for once second think we arent helping poor Africans, and dont think there arent other countries out there being helped with our own people...

It is, by any definition, the most heinous war crime of the 21st century, and those who ordered it, namely Cheney, Bush, Rumsfeld and Rice the greatest war criminals seen in modern times.

We cannot and will not admit it was all based on lies to gain access to the worlds 2nd largest oil reserves (Mission Accomplished) but if we ever told the truth about Iraq we also would have to put the perpetrators of this war on trial for their crimes.

we don't murder or oppress our own people or those of other countries? google "Obamas innocent drone casualties".
Its time America stopped being the biggest hypocrite in the history of planet.

What war? A war is when two sides square off and have it out. Iraq was an invasion. Not much different than the Nazis going into France or Poland. Except AMERICAN forces stayed. The place is now functioning just above the level of stone age. The execution of Saddam was so quirky. A court controlled by Americans- and the final phone call giving the okay to the semi-botched hanging - coming from the White House like a governor in Texas denying clemency to a common murderer.

Never wage a war from the boardroom of an oil company...Cheney and Bush were not military men..They did not have a clue too what they were doing. This Iraq thing was about a corporation conducting a hostile merger with blood involved. The most revolting part of this misadventure was in the fact no one wanted to publicly acknowledge the part Saudi Arabia played in the financing and deployment of terrorists who conducted the 9 11 attack.

Corporate warfare is a joke- They will attack the wrong people in order to protect their business interests and their business associates who happened to be the Saudis who for sport and amusement killed over 3000 people in one fail swoop. Bush and Cheney knew exactly who was responsible and did not want too deal with it...for selfish reasons...Keeping there little perverse secrets was more important than a mass murder...I believe that the Saudis had some real dirt on the American oil elite...and black mailed them into silence and submission.

Where did you get your "majority" of the world?
