The Ethanol mandate consumes 50% of our corn crop, and forces up prices of corn, and foods that are produced from corn, as well as beef, pork, poultry and eggs.

It is also responsible for the starvation of children in countries who have relied on our corn exports.

Quote:
Even the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization has requested a suspension of America's ethanol program, but Obama refuses to act. Presumably, he refuses to act because ethanol producers contribute a great deal to his campaign. Opensecrets.org lists 21 industry groups associated with biofuels supporting Obama. Yet the Obama campaign, which has attacked Mitt Romney for his connection of 13 years ago with Bain Capital, has never been forthcoming as to how much it is now receiving from biofuel lobbyists. Suffice it to say he has given them everything they asked for, including support for raising current ethanol additive limits from 10% to 15%.

I have always believed that using food for fuel is ridiculous. However as long as we are creating lies about Romney being responsible for the death of a cancer victim, I thought it might be a good time to point out that amid a serious drought, Obama could do something to help prevent the death by starvation of at least some children (obvioulsy, probably not all).

Obama doesn't even care about his half-brother from what is known, so how can he even care for anyone?

"Big Agriculture" is dominated by multinational corporations and conservative elected officials, because rural states are overwhelmingly republican. I know--my family is in agriculture. The only role a president would play in programs like this is either vetoing or signing the bill. Why don't you spend some time looking at the House and Senate Ag committees and then get back to us on who set up the entire system for ethanol production in this country, and who benefits from it?

I guess he figures they could eat all the loose dogs running around...just like he did.

His refusal is rather disturbing.

So no dems supported the ethanol mandate?
Can you explain why the current dem in the oval office won't suspend it?

Giving most all that stimulus to government unions instead of for the economy also starved the economy and kids as well.
He also kills the elderly by taking 3/4 of a trillion out of Medicare deposits for Obama care from the deductions those elderly people had out of their earnings for years. Makes the pay to doctors less causing less care for the elderly.
Obama kills old people.
He also backs the abortion clinics that are over populating black areas. So Obama helps contribute to a black genocide as well.

We're about to go to 15% ethanol here in Texas. So...what's Rick Perry doing to children? Killing them with his bare hands?
