And everyone knows that 1/2 of americans DO NOT PAY INCOME TAXES..
What about FICA, half of Americans don't pay that tax. I don't believe you.

Again, the overall number is around 14% that pay no taxes.
It a given that we're talking about INCOME tax....

Since we need to clarify the obvious, Let's clarify even further that we're talking about income tax in the United States.

For those of you who don't earn it, but want my money. Deal, you pay my income taxes this yr, and i will gladly pay yours. Be quite happy too?

See how you like paying my taxes.

When you can't pay them, don't come crying to me! For once maybe i should cry help, and seek assistance, never have i in my life, even when we were down on our luck.

Any one want to pay my taxes this year, you want with those of us have earned thru hard work, many sacrifices. If you want our money without earning it, you pay our taxes too, no matter how high we pay out.
And Obama neither has helped out our situation at all! He is worse for business then any other President, the worse.

Give me a break, more then half the population they say don't pay their fair share of taxes, there is that stupidity mentality out there, give me welfare and my food stamps, and i will take what you earned, in a pigs eye. Get off your rear ends, and earn for your dang self.

No. It's not. That certainly wasn't a given in the OP's article.

Why would we do that, other than to try and misrepresent the disparity in taxation?

I've read that about four times. It makes about as much sense as a nursery rhyme. Were you actually trying to make a point?

Fair enough?
Even those who pay no taxes, still have the same rate as those who do.. just because they find themself exempt, doesnt mean the standards for them change.
