Just wondering how you all feel about this statement -- that there are no undecided voters going into this election, b/c everyone has already decided who they are voting for.
Further, a lot of people are just sitting this one out. How do I know that? They are telling me that this is what they intend to do.
Several folks have said they are going to do a "protest vote" for Ron Paul.
So, based on what you have heard your friends, coworkers, neighbors, family members, etc say . . . is it accurate that nearly everyone out there already knows who he/she is voting for - and so it doesn't make a hill of beans what is or isn't discussed, what political ads are leashed on the public, what debates take place.
Are there really any "undecided" voters out there?
I don't think there are too many undecided voters who could switch their candidates of choice, maybe 1 or 2% of the voters but that would be it.
For example I'm on the fence about either voting for Romney or skipping the presidential vote (I'll still vote the other candidates and issues).
However, the more pressing issue for both parties is getting their voters off the couch. Not voting for you preferred candidate, even if you only mildly support the candidate, is really the bigger issue in my opinion.

Yes, I agree - getting the voters to the polls is the thing . . . or assuring that your opponent's supporters stay home, while yours turn out, lol.

every democrat and republican always know who they are voting for ahead of time. elections are there to just try and get the independents to vote for the party that wins.

Probably a lot of truth to that.
