Shouldn't an attorney have known better?

"An ex-Michigan assistant attorney has been ordered to cough up $4.5million to a gay University of Michigan student body president over an elaborate cyberbullying campaign. Christopher Armstrong's attorney Deborah Gordon said that the jury ruled in her client's favour on Thursday. Armstrong accused Andrew Shirvell of defamation and causing him emotional distress on an anti-gay blog, in Facebook posts and during visits to the Ann Arbor campus."

Bet he never pays it in our lifetime. It will be in appeals for mnay years to come and then they have to collect it.

Guess as the lawyer lost his job with the State as a result of his behavior, he has lots of time to dedicate to the appeal.
