I stopped going to Boston Market years ago because their food was so salty. I have friends, conservative friends for what it's worth, also complain on the saltiness. I doubt I'll go back but I think it's good idea that they lowered the amount of salt they use in their meals. You can always add more if you want to.

Salt is a flavor enhancer, and you need a certain amount of salt in your diet. I agree with you though. We don't use that much salt in cooking, but there are some foods I always salt at the table, like vegetables. Broccoli, zuccini, peas, corn ... most vegies, really. I never salt meat. I salt baked potato unless it has sour cream and chives; then, I can skipt the salt.

To not put a shaker on the table and let guests decide is bad business, I think. It means they are making a decision for you. That would offend me to have to ask for salt. Would they provide it if asked?

Some others said they're going as far as removing salt shakers from tables too.

I may try them after this change, and if taste and flavor are affected, Id never go back. And really, getting rid of salt shakers? WTH?

I'll miss ny half chicken meal and three piece dark......

I hate those damned squiggly bulbs. They don't last like they say they will, and they take several minutes to come up to full brightness. If you are only entering a room for a couple of minutes, your in the dark.

You're supposed to call a haz-mat team if you break one! Screw that. I sweep them up and toss them in the trash like any other bulb. I'm not playing the game.

Me, either.

Buy 130V regular bulbs. They last MUCH longer than 120V.

Others may ask to borrow it as well. Do you think you would need a concealed carry permit? Never know where this kind of thinking will take us. A salt shaker in the hands of a child??? Best take those offensive things off the table.

Surely there is a Federal law preventing people from carrying salt shakers without a permit. If not, there soon will be.

What does being conservative have to do with salt?

You should have about 50 pounds on hand at any given time.. With that said I live in NH and make salt horns, like a powder horn from real cow horn and cherry wood.....

And um........ and salt water beach is a place you can make salt any time you feel lazy, and have a big cookie sheet and a bucket on sunny days.
You should also have 50 pounds each of sugar and pepper.
