Unfortunately, the status quo people get their talking points from the talking heads on tv...... which is the same source that use the small non issues to divert peoples attention...... from the real problems

Agree. Divide and conquer! Have us squabbling amongst ourselves while the government continues to grow larger, more nanny state policies are enacted (because we have to save ourselves from ourselves), and more bull**** wars and nation building, all while they continue to destroy our economy, and the middle class.

It has been working very efficiently since many insecure people find refuge in the confines of the "party setting. Alot of people feel safe "in numbers" and are almost tribelike these days

Most people inside their souls are really the same and really want most of the same things in life....... if we could just get more people to be strong and listen to their hearts instead of left and right hate on tv

That is why I cannot embrace either party, because I can't see everything in black and white. I base everything case by case, and go from there. So far Paul is the only one that is honest, not bought and paid for, and truly would represent ALL Americans. Gary Johnson is intriguing as well, but we'll see.

It is funny though, when a take those political tests, Gary Johnson and I are about 90% right on. He appears to be the Libertarian nominee on the ballot, Ron Paul can be written in of course, which I suspect many will do

He is the only one not owned by special interest $ and that is a big plus

After such a silly non sequitor as this, no need to read the rest of the post.

I don't care what someone looks like. I care about that person's honesty, integrity, and over all character.

No, the problem is that I've been burned by the 3rd party candidate before. Like it or not, neither Ron Paul or Gary Johnson will get a significant portion of the vote.

And it's too bad too, because neither status quo "lesser of two evils" candidate being presented is going to fix anything. Nor do they give a crap about doing so. Even if Romney gets in, which I don't think he will, expect more big government BS!
