Even if I lived in Vancouver (none of your business), there are about 100k Americans that live there that know about how the process works.
His is a valid argument. States can't afford to remain open for 24 hours months at a time. Ohio allows you to vote for 30 days. How much more should there be?

I do not know all of Canada's regulations either but I have read that they require an I.D. to vote. So I really do not know what the complaint you would have here is.

Nice dodge.

Ohio polling precincts are open before 7:00 AM and close after 7:00 PM.

Ohio law bars employers from penalizing employees who vote.

If you will not be in Ohio, or you will be unable to vote on Election Day for any reason, then you can obtain an absentee ballot. Might I remind you that is the entire purpose of having absentee ballots, so that you can vote when you won't be able to for any reason.

There is no good reason, no logical, valid reason to keep voting precincts open for 30 days at tax-payer expense.

So, exactly how big is that shrine to Lenin you have in your closet?

I think that the old party machine ideas about vote early and vote often works out very well. The more time people voting under the names of dead people the more times they can vote. I think that all these things like early voting and all that time have been inserted, mostly from the left, to allow more cheating.

Why would they suppress the vote for anyone voting for the 2 major parties when the people in power own both parties?
Now if you are trying to vote for some fringe candidate they don't own, they may suppress your vote, but so long as you are voting for one of the two choices they give you, it would not make sense. After all they want you to believe you live in a democracy despite the fact that you do not.
Just keep drinking the Kool-Aid and voting Democrat/Republican and then go back to being a good little peasant.
