Ohio's Husted fires Democratic election board members - The Maddow Blog

Of course, the cons will just blow if off as soon as they see Maddow, who calls them out on their lies and racism all the time.
They were fired since they tried to restore the early voting, that they had, without any problems, in 2008.

Quoting Maddow is the equivalent of getting financial advice from the Greek Government. Can't you do any better?

Get off your butt and then do some homework, of course, no one in the mainstream media will report it.
I got off my butt.

They were fired because they refused to follow the rules set by their boss. Right or wrong, the rules are the rules and this has nothing to do with party affiliation.

In the thread about the innkeepers who were fined 30k the very post post states, "Break the law, pay the consequences".

They broke the law, they now face the consequences. Ohio allows you vote for 30 days before an election. I've asked this in every similiar thread. How much longer should voting be open?

It used to be you voted on election day. Period. We expand the days and expand the days and Ohio has said 30 is enough. The Dems push to expand it even further, not to get more people to vote, but to make it an election issue.

So, I will ask again.....why is 30 days not enough?

anyone with some interest in voting in a presidential election has 4/FOUR years to do what is required to ensure they can cast a vote. that alone is trumps any charge of supressing the vote.

Obama's only hope of winning is to round up slugs on election day pay them for their vote. Nothing more, nothing less. it is bernadine dorn and bill ayres that encourage a policy where people in other countries can vote for US president because the US president has an impact on their lives.

Supressing the vote is what the Dems are doing as each vote they direct and buy negates a legitimate vote cast in the spirit of partiotism.

30 days is way more than enough time.

Concurring...

That's rich coming from someone in O Canada! who doesn't even understand how the electoral process works.

Canada has voter ID laws -- I guess you're suppressing minorities.

In case you don't get it, elections are not free --- they cost money -- and many States don't have a lot of money --- so if you want to pony up some money, then feel free to do so, otherwise...

...butt out and mind your own business.

Constitutionally...

Wow, are you part of the reason why I can't stand most cons (read the Vancoulingham again and try to learn Geography 101).
Even if I lived in Vancouver (none of your business), there are about 100k Americans that live there that know about how the process works.

Funny piece by Jon Stewart on the issue with limiting polling hours in predominantly democratic districts, they later relented.
