National Security Council spokesman Tommy Vietor says of Obama: “among the most sophisticated consumers of intelligence on the planet.”

So their excuse is basically that he is just so smart, so intelligent, he doesn't need to be briefed. He doesnt need to meet regularly with experts, because who is really smarter than Barack?

From the recent disaster in the middle east and the preventable loss of life, Id say to Barack that he may not be as smart as he thinks he is.

Next time try to read through your articles you post properly before posting a "throw your arms up in disgust" thread.
So the great Obama is so smart he doesn't even have one question to ask his security advisors? Or he has no input to them to effect policy? This is a time of war! Our diplomat was sodomized and killed along with two Marines with no bullets in their weapons and another man.

I'm not defending Obama in the slightest, but I would like to see the numbers of other past presidents, Bush, Clinton, etc to see where this 43.8% attendance rate looks in comparison to others. Is he going to more? Is he going to less?
Why? Obama was supposed to change how DC operated remember? No more lobbyists, all this transparency on and on he went. Why would you compare him to how DC operated before? I guess that is all there is left for the great leader. He is in reality just like the rest or worse.

Will we find out if any warning was in these briefings and he ignored them? The reason to have people brief you, rather than read them, is so you can ask questions, get more detail. Yet he felt he didnt need that. His own guys say it's because he is soooo smart, he doesnt need experts.

I want to know if any of these intel notes he dismissed, talked of threats or warnings. I wonder how the CIA is feeling now. Providing information yet it gets ignored by the President.
