This topic, while not a hit with liberals, should probably be pinned.

More info is coming out daily to show that the Administration has been lying to the public.

Obama official: Benghazi was a terrorist attack | The Cable

Despite the WH doing there best to not talk avoid talking about any of this, info is coming out going against what they previously said. They are doing their best to keep this quiet and under wraps, at least until after the election.

How can you trust this Administration. Proven to be liars. Liberals must love being lied to.

Did we ever find those WMDs in Iraq?

Our government lies to us regardless of which party is in office. Don't be an idiot.

You just linked to the WH saying now it was a terrorist attack so what are you rambling about exactly?

They were forced to. They swore beforehand that it wasn't. They now also say it still wasn't planned yet everything says it was.
They also claim they were shocked it happened and had no warnings. Reports say otherwise

They're mincing words - since this will come back to bite them.

Yes, they say that it was a terrorist attack, but not a planned one, thereby washing their hands of ever having any type of warning.

Good luck w/that. This may be one of the gravest pre-election mistakes. The public would be infuriated - dems, repubs & independents alike.

Nah, most people don't really care all that much and you know it.

The public knew that the Bush Administration had prior knowledge of 9/11 attacks and that did not prevent GWB from winning.

Is it possible that new information became more clear as the dust settled and the investigation process began to unfold?

What is it with you people acting surprised when these politician lie btw?

You don't really think lying is a partisan thing do you? LoL. Wow!!!!

I can't believe sometimes that people still think that their is one good party and that the other one is bad. Such an immature outlook, almost that of a simpleton.

Both parties are about the same believe it or not, they both follow the same script.

The press quickly hammered Romney for his comments, but after lies and incompetence that led to our own being killed, the press doesn't go after the Admin. What does that tell you about the press?
You would have to be a complete moron to vote for Barack again. This story alone, if the press did their jobs, should bury him.

Apparently there was a video involved, but not the one the White House would have us believe. On September 10, 2012, a day before the attack against the embassy in Libya, a video from al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri was released imploring Libyans to attack Americans in retribution for the US drone strike that killed Libyan-born al-Qaida leader Abu Yahya al-Libi in June 2012.

It is also thought that al Qaeda was involved in those attacks. Specifically, Libyan born Abu Sufian Ibrahim Ahmed Hamuda Bin Qumu who was a detainee at GITMO until 2007. He was known as prisoner 557 in GITMO, and he was released to Libyan authorities in 2007 where he was held in Abu Salim prison until 2010, when he was released following an amnesty for political prisoners.
