This thread was back in July.

GDP growth slows to 1.5% in second quarter.

Now it's revised downward to 1.3%

Second-quarter GDP cut to 1.3 percent on drought

Economic growth was much weaker than previously estimated in the second quarter as a drought cut into inventories, setting the platform for an even more sluggish performance in the current quarter against the backdrop of slowing factory activity.

So this report is about smoothing the curve. So they must know the third quarter GDP numbers will be worse than the second quarter.

Doesn't matter.

Unemployment benes, forevah

Free birth control

Lied about taxes, transparency and bipartisanship (google Bob Woodward, The Price of Politics to find about failure to lead in a crisis).

Disguised taxes out the wazoo, in the ACA

Fewer people working to pay for all of this

Real unemployment rate of 15%, 50% among African-American teens.

Free abortion with no constraints

Home and student loan forgiveness and modification, so no need to take responisbility for your decisions. Just use Fedcard. Ka-ching! Priceless.

Turn the auto companies over to the unions, screw the bonafide bond holders. Eh, they're 1%ers anyway.

Reward your bundlers with the green energy initiative. Everyone loves green, and won't bother to look at how the deals were structured to fail. Not to mention, a nice way to channel the campaign contributions back to the original source.

Social Security even though it is fast dissipating, with no plan to address

Medicare unsustainable, with no plan to fix. What me worry? (ode to Alfred E Neuman).

Medicaid set for major uptick, with massive burden on states pushed to the out years of ACA. makes for better bottom line, don't you know.

Greek and Spain-like austerity riots, when there is not more private enterprise growth to pay for the fat cow.

Let's focus on the unfairness of a man utilizing a tax code that Dem politicians had a big hand in crafting. Gotta' rev up that penis, err class envy.

Let's not forget a childish prank at school, 50 odd years ago, but pay no attention to a declaration of favoring redistribution a scant 15 years ago.

Oh, and the dog in a crate, 40 years ago? Forget the fact that thousands of hunters haul dogs in crates, every weekend. But, I guess they are the ones clinging to their guns and bibles, so they don't count. Do they?

I'm sure there are more. Just too shell shocked to remember them all.

But, he is so damn likeable, and cares so much for me. Vote Obama, my a**.

That isn't the scary part.

The scary part was the 2nd revision put it at 1.7%.

How do you screw something up that badly?

Frightened...

142,220,000 to 142,101,000 is apparently a good change to liberals for the civilian employment level.
