It wasn't just the GOP. Neither the House nor the Senate did anything about the drone attack of Libya.
They sat silently when they received "the memo" from the President about his decision to send in the drones.

If this were a Republican administration the national media/DNC propaganda wing would be running stories on it NONSTOP 24/7.
So, the Obama administration did not reveal that they were actively investigating the incident through the CIA and they had leads? So you want the Obama to share all their intelligence gathering activities?

They lied. They ignored warnings. No protection. No security. Lies afterwards and drumming up more anger over a video that had nothing to do with this.
We want accountability and honesty. And they did such a great job after the fact, that CNN was able to get Stevens journal and not the FBI/CIA. Only to have the State Dept whine about it.
There was a failure before, during and after this incident. That is why they lie about it and that is why the press gives them cover.

When CNN finds his journal first you have to wonder if any USG went to the bomb site afterwards to do any investigations.
Did CNN get to the Benghazi consulate before the USG ? Sure looks that way.

I did not see anything in the OP that said that they had warning . That lie has been debunked repeatedly. The CIA was following up on leads after the fact, which is what the OP said. They were investigating.
Again, you are repeating lies that have been debunked and giving your own opinion without any basis in fact. That makes a thread fail.
