How do you debate with Jobbers. It is like debating with Birthers and Crazy people. They have no facts they just babble on and on. They make unsubstantiated allegations. This is the way they work. Romney is martian...prove that he is not. The post above and every other post making these stupid allegations are from people operating with half a brain.

Excellent info!

Look at the U-6 numbers. No change from August.

That's false.

This is what's really going on:

For young college graduates, the unemployment rate was 10.4 percent in 2010 and 9.4 percent over the last year

...while the underemployment rate was 19.8 percent in 2010 and 19.1 percent over the last year.

Repped!
Interesting to look at Chart G for example. Notice the WP rate doesn't even move a decimal for 3 yrs. Look at U6. Stays exactly 67.1% 3yrs in a row. Also SS, alternate, as far as I know basically adds back in what was changed under Clinton. Here is the desc.

The seasonally-adjusted SGS Alternate Unemployment Rate reflects current unemployment reporting methodology adjusted for SGS-estimated long-term discouraged workers, who were defined out of official existence in 1994. That estimate is added to the BLS estimate of U-6 unemployment, which includes short-term discouraged workers.

It does not suit the agenda, that is why it won't get combined.

Labor report reflecting falling jobless rate stirs campaign firestorm | Fox News

In a country where a large number of people are ESL and lack the communications skills needed to work, or face physical, mental or emotional disabilities, or refuse to move to a community where there are jobs, 7.8 unemployment rate is about as close as you will get in today's world to FULL EMPLOYMENT.

Don't forget that many if not most of the people who are unemployed face physical, mental (intellectual) or psychological issues and are basically unemployable.

Anyone not employed right now able to work must certainly be a slacker of the worst sort.
I can't imagine with all of the opportunities we have many not even taking two jobs.
Surely there is a shortage of applicants due to the massive openings.

May be that some are hesitant due to the recently much increased value of our dollar so what they already have is going very far.
Gas is now cheap due to leasing approval on Federal lands and spurring the economy as travel & recreational activities increase.

Food prices?, they are practically giving the stuff away.

How coould we ever want anyone else to lead us?

Yesterday I saw a gold bar just lying in the street.
Thought about stopping but why waste the time, I have everything I could ever want already.
