Is this any worse than abortion? (Same/better/worse)

Does the baby feel any less pain either way?

Why is adoption not an option to these people?

Who knows why she did it. Perhaps she was deranged. Presumably more facts will come out as more is known.

As to whether a fetus can feel pain, that depends on who far along the pregnancy is. Under 24 weeks, the nervous system does not permit the sensation of pain.

It's not -- and it's the same as the killing of someone at any age. And what does pain have to do with it? If a man kills his girlfriend while she's asleep, she may feel no pain at all - so would that be okay?

Probably some form of post-postpartum depression or psychosis.

Oh my another wacko mom...... I don't see where if pain or not is anything..... getting stabbed isn't usually so painful at the instant it happens. Getting a little nick from something sharp usually hurts more, after a bit of time passes.

But these wacko mothers are getting to be out of hand.

Once there was a study.... it was long ago and there were no computers and so I have no links...

The study was done with rats in a cage. They started off with just a few in a larger cage and were always given everything they could want but for more room.

At first everything was fine, but as the population increased problems came to be, until there were just too many rats killing each other.

There was still plenty of food and water to go around too..

Is this where we are at in space and time?

I think it's some of that -- we're becoming a very crowded country, people are living elbow-to-elbow but also with the many legal mind-altering drugs along with tons of illegal mind-altering drugs coming over the border every day, it's almost surprising that more people aren't going psychotic.

malamute, i wonder ..... i don't see many people over the course of weeks.... months even. I have to go out somewhere to do that, but when i do i see the strangest looking peoples....

There is this current rage of taking medium ugly people and making them far more uglier than they were..... They do in fact remind me of zombies... and they do look like real walking dead....

I don't get close so for all I know they really are walking dead, but so long as they don't come to me it's ok I guess.

I guess paint and hardware is still cheap..

Triple for that Susan Smith too Huh?

This is a problem with this so called modern society where there is so little help and life is so shallow that young people feel there is no other way out.

This liberal experiment is coming to a nasty end.... The only good thing is it's almost over. Pretty soon man can get back to fixing this failed PC social experiment.
