The reason for the gas shortage is NOT lack of oil or gas but because the refineries have no power to be able to produce and many gas stations have plenty of gas but no power to use the pumps.

The gas shortage is local. Refinieries are not fully functional. Many NE ports are closed.

Does Romney have a wand that will magically restore the NY tri-state area, chop-chop.? If so, all he has to do is wave it and the blue NY tri-state area states will turn red, in a flash.
Not quite sure what your getting at except to bash Obama some more. Facts are, it wouldn't matter if gas was 25 cents a gallon or the country was awash in gasoline right now. The areas where the long lines are have no electricity to pump the fuel they have in the underground tanks. Those stations that have electricity have run out of fuel and can't get the tanker trucks to their site because of the roads. That's the facts of the situation.
How is any of this related to Obama's energy policy?
