Ron Paul is a geezer. Too old. Next.

But I agree, the GOP will need to adopt a libertarian platform (less war, less government, socially liberal on gay rights and drug legalization) to win elections in the future. Why? Because you're giving voters a CHOICE, not an echo. And you will do very well in liberal blue states adopting libertarian positions.

And all you libertarians need to thank us liberals for decimating the social conservative wing of the GOP in 2012. This election was a revolution for individual rights. Obama isn't even really relevant.

You didn't read the article obviously. Ron Paul is retired he gave us a movement and its up to us to move it forward...I HIGHLY doubt he will ever run again...its about the people he has endorsed and people he has inspired to run for office.

someday that will be me.

Ron Paul cured my apathy. I have been much more aware of what is going on in this country because of him. And I know many people who are, too.

However we do not want your love for the IRS, too big to fail, "we need more regulation" agenda in our economic system.
There are plenty of regulations. Ever see how many rules the SEC has? Its thousands.
There needs to be a few right regulations in an economy not thousands of pointless regulations.

End the Bailouts and FED and we'll get somewhere.

Meh. All the GOP has to do is jettison the self-righteous far right.

At that point any number of reasonable (and actually competent) people become available
to run for office and focus on the issue that actually matter to the bulk of Americans lives.

Of course the GOP has been getting this same suggestion for years.
So far they don't seem inclined to take it.

I wouldn't worry too much. remember the disaster the dems were in after the repubs took control of the House for the first time in 40 years? Everybody was prediction the dem party was dead. Didn't happen them and it won't happen now.

Ron Paul had the cleanest most consistent track history than any other candidate running this time around and in 08. He should have won both elections. People were too lazy and ignorant to research the candidates though. Rather pay attention to the bias media.

Every election the winners move to the extreme and the losers move to the center. It will happen again.
