CHICAGO (CBS) – Police have issued a warning about a serious and disturbing attack on a child in the North Lawndale neighborhood.
CBS 2’s Brad Edwards reports, around 7:45 a.m. Monday, a 14-year-old girl was walking to school when a group of six men grabbed her off the street, forced her into a car, then drove her to a house, where they raped her.
This isn't a new thing, by any means. Robert "Iceberg Slim" Beck described similar things taking place in Chicago in his autobiography Pimp: The Story of My Life, published in 1969.
By then, he was already 51, and the book spends most of its time describing events that took place in the 1930's, 40's, and 50's.
I hear that Chicago is home to a lot of Democrats.
