Oh BS, she broke some rules and got the penalty. How about getting a potentially controversial song approved before playing it. Oh wait that's toooooooooooo easy..... it goes like this:
Teacher: hey principal I have a song about anti bullying related to homosexuality I want to play in class thats not part of our curriculum.
Principal: Give me a copy of the lyrics and let me listen to the song and I'll get back to you.
Oh wow that was hard.
What if it was religious hymm? Would you be crying the same Boo Hoo Hoo?
I doubt it you'd probably be saying the teacher should have been hanged instead of just suspended
It's a performing arts class, and playing the song was requested by a student. The teacher verified the song did not contain any violence or profanity. Are students not allowed to express feelings of love, respect and tolerance?

Um, last I check while the constitution provides for a separation of church and state, it does not provide for a separation of anti-hate speech and state.

So homogressive predictable.
How about following the RULES before going outside the curriculum.
We would have supported the teacher had she got the song approved first.
So you're for more regulation then? A teacher with a college degree is incapable of deciding what is appropriate for her students and requires additional oversight?
