I think he has offered to do just that with the idiotic presentation he just made. He won't let it all go to hell because I don't think he wants the history books to show that he tried to force the Republicans to raise taxes, for him, without one damned thing given back about lessening spending. Will he go ahead, thereby proving he doesn't care about the nation and the people or will he finally back down. He has 31 days to decide in and I don't think he wants those who voted for him to see that he isn't what he told them he was.

Listen to this audio and then lets get to discussing where he is willing to go.

RUSH: Call Obama

I doubt Obama cares about the history books because his little swooners will be writing it for him.

Rush, seriously?

Don't be so quick to forget, people voted Congress (Republicans + Democrats) in as well. It's a whole cluster of people who can't do their jobs. Obama is NOT entirely to blame here.

If Obama is not to blame, who is? He thinks he has a mandate, because of the election, to pull this crap and just as Rush says will blame the Republicans for whatever happens unless it is seen to be good.

The one responsible for this whole fake "crisis" is Boehner. If America goes over the edge, it's all on him. Prior to Boehner's teabagger house of representatives, America never had a big issue over the debt limit. Boner and his pals will be held accountable if this goes wrong. And they've seen the figures on it, too. They'll cave or they'll be out of office in two years.

Their choice.

That's the goal here. Wreck the country - blame Republicans.

And you are doing your job of getting the message out there before it happens. Hope you are compensated well.

We never had a crisis over the debt limit because we never had this out of control debt before. The only good lawmakers right now would vote against raising the debt limit. Every other politician wants to spend this country into oblivion.

It's about time someone actually questioned this continuous raising of the debt ceiling.
