We raise taxes on the rich, heck, we can raise taxes all across the board then we're still looking at a $500 billion deficit. Liberals are about to have their way with tax increases, but they fail to suggest subsequent measures to get our fiscal house in order. So liberals I ask, once taxes are increased, then what? Problem solved? America back on track? Economy booming again? Don't worry about the multi-hundred billion dollar deficit?

They are doing exactly what the republicans in congress are doing, just ignoring the specific cuts, pretending that it doesn't exist, and will just claim that Obama is not serious.

Why not just tax 110 percent and get all the money from rich people

There are wars that are costly, like the war on terrorism and drugs. Both of these could could use less funding. Congress and senate could take a few pay cuts too. There are a lot of money leeches that could be weaned off the taxpayer teat.
