Problem solved? America back on track? Economy booming again? Don't worry about the multi-hundred billion dollar deficit?
Easy raise taxes more

that is actually a solution. Who said that the low Clinton tax rates should be the upper bound of what s being discussed? Conservatives argue that there was an economic boom under Reagan. Ok, let's have the Reagan rates, with a 50% top rate and 28% capital gains rate. The stock market rose 400% under that rate.

They are doing exactly what the republicans in congress are doing, just ignoring the specific cuts, pretending that it doesn't exist, and will just claim that Obama is not serious.

Because even such thoughts are childish. Heck, you didn't even know how tax rates work.

Maybe not altogether get rid of it, but the pentagon as a whole does take up a whole lot of the budget.

There are wars that are costly, like the war on terrorism and drugs. Both of these could could use less funding. Congress and senate could take a few pay cuts too. There are a lot of money leeches that could be weaned off the taxpayer teat.

Here's what liberals keep tiptoeing around, your president, supposed Liberal icon Barack Obama, engages in expansion of the military industrial complex, and war on drugs, just like our previous Republican president.
