It's highly doubtful autism is increasing on its own. There is some combination of outside factors at work. And we'll probably never know much about the long-term effects of GMOs as Monsanto et.al. won't allow it.
I was at the local supermarket that sells specialty foods and there was a LINE to sign a petition that was held by a guy outside. The petition was for Washington State to require labeling of GMOs.
It is simple: just let us know what we're eating. Don't ban anything, don't make anyone do anything they don't want to, just make the corporations tell us what is in our food and let the free market work its magic. We all know that even the most uniformed would steer clear of genetically modified food and get the real stuff instead if they knew what was what.
But don't blame the people for being uniformed. The news media is more interested in Kim Kardashian than they are in real reporting. There is a reason few Americans know what Monsanto is and how they are one of the most, if not the most evil corporation on Earth.
Greatest trick the devil ever played was in convincing the world he doesn't exist...and the greatest trick Monsanto ever played with in hiding its name behind countless subsidiaries.
When you consider selection of the fittest, everything we eat is genetically modified. Some genetic modifications work for us and others don't. We just stop eating the foods with GM's that don't agree with us. I'm far more concerned wtih getting e-coli from organically grown spinach myself. Though we haven't had a problem with organic spinach in a while....
However, what the chart shows is a steady increase. If GMO's were a problen, I would have expected spiking as more and more GMO's came on the market. I'd like to see the pre 1996 data. Seems to me that autism DIAGNOSIS has been on the rise for a while. They tried to link it to vaccinations before GMO's and vaccinations have been around a lot longer than human made GMO's. Natuare made has been around forever....
