Yup. Before he was known in america as a liberal agitator, in England he was known as a sleazy, lying, arrogant chancer who preyed on vunerable people for stories...who happened to run off to america when his paper was implicated in various illegal scandals.

Im just amazed he immediately got a top job, brits see straight through him. He's hardly telegenic or likeable. Must have some dirt on people in high places.

Petitions calling for his deportation reflect badly and I don't understand why simply tuning out when his show is on wouldn't serve the purpose much better; unless of course there are still significant numbers who continue to watch him.

He's an arrogant prig and offers nothing new to the interviewing scene in any case.

Wrong.

He's not a citizen, as far as I know.
First Amendment protections extend to non-citizens.

Fascinating. Could you cite the pertinent bit in the constitution?

Have to say, the petition to keep him here is pretty funny:

"“We got rid of him [Piers Morgan] once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him, so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago.â€"

I think all the bitching on Citi-Data is driving up his ratings. I know I've taken up watching a bit more.
