The deal to avert the fiscal cliff, which includes tax increases on those making $450K and above, results in an estimated $60B in additional tax revenues annually.

LOL

Someone, anyone please tell me how how a measely $60 Billion in revenue will do anything to alter the trajectory of TRILLION DOLLAR DEFICITS!

LOL

Silly liberals think they've won the debate but in reality have been shat on again by none other than Barack Hussein Obama!

It's all about "ARITHMETIC!"

Hiliarious!!

They feel they "won" because there's basically no cuts in any real spending. Cuts in discretionary spending = ticked off Dem voters who rely on nanny state vote buying to win elections. They don't really care about any cliff, they just don't want to lose the power to continue buying votes with gov. money.

Which liberal is saying we "won?" I don't think liberals are too happy with the deal, but that's how Congress works. You negotiate and then you vote. This whole we won or we lost mentality that is how the right-wing thinks now is what is wrong with the current climate in politics.

Liberals everywhere are claiming victory across the interwebs. I've yet to find a forum where liberals are crying over the outcome. All they see is Barack fulfilling a campaign promise of raising taxes on the rich.

"ARITHMETIC" doesn't appear to matter. Perhaps you can reach out and inform your brethren?

I don't know one SINGLE person, Republican or Democrat, that thinks this was a great deal for anyone.

Nor have I seen it on this forum; but I might have skipped a thread or two.

So I'm thinking that the OP is looking foolish right now. Thread fail

first i will address your link which you obviously dont understand.

first off, the CBO's projects were actually based on us going off the fiscal cliff compared to a deal.

the fiscal cliff( which is spending cuts) was meant to balance the budget, it would raise taxes on every single person and cut 400 billion in spending, but it would cause a recession.

Not sure why you think coming to a deal some how means obama "shat" on anyone.
