He's a Texas Hero judging by how much his website is linked here by some. I really hope conspiracy theorists like this go on TV more often, it's hilarious.

You don't at the very least, think it's interesting to hear the complete opposite side of what the mainstream media wants you to hear day in and day out?

Also a gun owner, I have no problem with a database either. I just don't see a problem with it.

Why the need for a database?

Anyway, I don't understand why every time we want to debate guns, the retort from gun nuts is that they won't allow anyone to take away their guns. I'm sure some people do want to take away all guns but we all know that is never going to happen. What many of us want is a calm discussion on what can be done and what is reasonable. For example, requiring gun shows to do background checks is completely reasonable to most people. I had no idea that gun shows did not require it which boggles my mind. We definitely need to have a discussion on mental health in this country and that applies even beyond the gun debate. We can talk about armed guards everywhere, how that gets paid for if people want it, etc. For pro-gun people to insinuate or flat out say that this is our problem, not theirs really belittles the tragedies that are occurring.

When Billy shows up at your house, breaks in and wants to steal your $$ for his next high and have his way with your wife, you will wish that you had a gun.

Do you only listen to Alex Jones (read his site Infowars), or any other conspiracy theorist only because it's what you WANT to hear/see/believe?

I think the MSM may give me a bit more facts. I'm one who always researches everything that is reported anyway. Especially if I'm going repeat it to someone else.

I never even hinted at the notion that I only listen to/watch Jones and people of his ilk. I listen to/watch the mainstream news all of the time. I find it fascinating to hear both extremes though.

For the record I'll check out BBC and even al-jazeera as well...
