This country was founded on freedom. Freedom of religion, sexual preference, beliefs, speech, right to bear arms, etc. Most Americans have no clue what's going on except for the mainstream media brainwashing.
This country was founded with strong influences from the Christian faith, but that does not restrict a mosque being built anywhere in this country.

Maybe that is because it could be like creating a monument to a victory for many Muslims.
I want to hear a bunch of them around the world be vocal agaisnt radical Islam and instead they are enablers of it mostly IMO.
It is not tactful for them to be there IMO, but so far I do not believe they were banned. I know they have no money to build it and want the USA to pay for it. That is also BS IMO.

dont know about that the ACLU, which is very liberal, sued
for the right of nazi's to march through black neighborhoods.
