This lie has become so wide spread. The 2nd Ammendament has absolutely NOTHING to do with hunting. Whoever controls the media, controls the message.

100% accurate.

They like to use the phrase "this gun is not of any sporting use" when describing something that they want to ban because it looks scary.

Sporting use is not a requirement.

Agreed, it's not even relevant. When I heard Andrew Cuomo, in his awful NY accent give such an ignorant speech the other day and invoke "hunting" several times, I knew that stupidity had won the day.

Do you have a link of some sort? Are any real media outlets stating there has to be a sporting use? Opinion heads don't count in my book.

The First Amendment is about stuff printed only on paper. Nothing about TV, radio, Internet etc.

TV, radio and internet weren't around during the foundation of this country; hunting was. Epic Fail on your part.

Sporting use is not a requirement.

Actually, I like to use the following phrase: "Why the hell would anyone want to own a Bushmaster, are you expecting an invasion of some kind, or do you just like deer tartar."

...but then that's just me.

And the correct answer would be: it's none of your business.

I personally don't understand why any human would willingly choose to smoke, but it is their right to do so.
