I believe so. It has come time to hold people who toy with the extremes and pump them up to commit violence to be held responsible.

Unless you are saying people dont have free will then there is no such thing as incitement to hatred, merely people who allow themselves to be incited.

If im a mad muslim cleric and i tell my congregation of 1000 to go slay the infidel and 999 of my congregation don't but 1 does, then its pretty obvious the action lies with that 1 individual, not me. 99.9% have exercised their free will to choose not to.

Obviously if i ensure that individual is acting under duress, then thats a game changer. But if not, only that individual is to blame.

Like so called hate speech (blasphemy by any other name) its a disgraceful law created by disgraceful people.

Yup, and while we are at it we should hold music and tv responsible when teens get pregnant because it is glorified on tv......

Nope. Solicitation of or suborning an actual crime is already covered under existing laws.

In a free society, it is permissible to hate people and to talk about it.
