The Liberal (Progressive) mentality is doomed, by its own flwas, to failure. It doesn't work. It has less chance of success than a perpetual mothion machine at room termperature.
Criminals do not care if they are allowed to have guns or not. And consider this. Gang culture works very differently. In gang culture, going to prison is not considered a disgrace. It's considered an honor, as there are gangs in prison. If a gang member gets killed by a rival gang member, the rule is often revenge, which involves killing. Banning guns will not stop that. The problem is that many gang members expect to be killed, and for this reason, do not mind killing someone else. Getting to the root of why gangs form, however, would be much more helpful. From there, with a better relationship between the police and all of the communities, would be more helpful.
Obummer needs to have a beer summit with the leaders of the gangs. Maybe that will help.

How was it disrespectful? Isnt that how you deal with problems between two parties? Invite them to the White House and have a Public in the media beer summit? Didnt it work last time? It has to be at least as effective as the Gun Ban in Chicago and Obama's plan to ban scary black rifles.
