Where were your complaints when the Republicans skyrocketed the debt under Dubya?
We are still paying for his legacy of corruption and fraud.
We are still paying for the legacy of corruption and fraud under Clinton too. Obama is in office now; we can actually do something about his corruption and fraud, as well as other politicians currently in office. But of course the best the far left can do is drag out the "blame Bush" doormat when every corrupt politician shares responsibility.
The so called "cut" to the budget was out paced by our growing debt by $20 Billion during the time the kabuki theater on the 2011 budget was being held.
Where was the outrage from the Democrats when the Pelosi/Reid Congress failed to do their job and pass any budget at all?
I'm greatly disappointed in Speaker Boehner and think if he is not going to take the political risk with this administration to do the hard work that needs to be done to ensure this country does not completely collapse economically, then he should hand the gavel over to Jim DeMint.
People who follow the GOP for the most part were not fooled and knew Boehner gave in.
Never thought I would stick up for Boehner but I think he got as much as he could get. You know the reality of having a {D} POTUS and Senate, how could he have got more. If there was a Gvt shutdown the media mostly would have blamed just the {R}s and the sheeple would have ate it up.

This is why the left gets more of want they want more often than the right.
The left is not afraid to blow up the process to get what they want. Now granted, the press covers for them - but still, they push the envelope to try and get what they want.
The right remains polite and civil, not wanting to kick up any dust if possible. While that is admirable in a general sense, they won't get very far in their negotiations.
The people whom the left is afraid of have no problem making waves to get their point across - Limbaugh, Palin, and the Tea Party. Whomever is at this level is personally attacked in order to slime their name and attempt to shame anyone who likes them. The GOP does not have many people at this level.
Politicians suck.....this cut next to nothing. Shame on the gop for giving in and screw the dems for leading us further down a path to destruction
These idiots better quit screwing around and take this crisis seriously
This is actually a good thing. The President and Reid tipped their hand and showed they are not to be trusted. So when it comes time to negotiate on what really matters--the 2012 budget--the Republicans will not take any of their promises at face value. There will be a shut down.
