The men are difficult to find after the "hit and run". That's why you sterilize them at birth.
If they prove to be productive, responsible people with the ability to provide for a family, then they get a universal background check and have the sterilization reversed.
I support that, I can think of plenty of men in here who should be sterilized if they were actually getting anything.
Kind of weird how some people look for anything they can use to even up whatever arguement is going on that they don't like. Gun control, for example, and nothing to do with abortion but I guess it's the only thing certain folks can think of that "the other side" supports so we end up with stupid threads like this.
Didn't OP claim to be celibate? At least he's playing it safe. I wonder how he would fare if we did test people for mental health to give them a pass or fail on whether they are fit for sex. I think there should be a means test as well - stop broke ass baby daddies in their tracks. We could force forehead tattoos on those who don't earn enough money to independently raise a child and shoot them full of depo-provera to kill their urges.
I think the OP missed his true calling and should look into science fiction writing.
Before terminating a life, shouldn't we, as caring human beings know whether the woman is crazy, suffers from depression or has other mental issues?
Better yet.....universal background checks BEFORE being allowed to get pregnant!
Might be a workable idea. If found lacking they could include hysterectomy with the abortion. There's the side benefit of avoiding menopause.
Sandra Fluke should like that... then she wouldn't need those BC pill benefits for her and her partner.
And throw in appendix removal as well.
