Hit another car while committing DWI? No problem we'll just demote you and have you take classes.
Shoot innocent person? No problem, they probably deserved it.
There is no level of public outcry that changes their behavior. And if it gets too public, like national level, the parties involved have a beer with the president. Year after year they recruit more ex-military and arm them with more powerful lethal devices. We are not the crooks, cops are. Not a single reason to have civilian police, not a one.

All the bullies at school when growing up, later they are now cops. All of them and that's no joke.

They are also all the fat, donut eating kids that got picked on.

Now they are getting even!!!

Cops suck, never talk to a cop! Cops lie whenever their mouth opens.

Never trust a cop!

Besides being the biggest gang threat to Americans, cops are well armed and are rarely by themselves when accosting innocent citizens. Judging from all the reports of out of control cops, I'd say they're psychopaths and sociopaths too. They know they can kill you for anything or nothing at all, and walk away.

Google: Cops Kill Innocent & look at all the results. THIS is why the 2nd Amendment is in place.

Nothing justifies the treatment this lady received! And nothing justifies the almost daily murders of innocent people by thug cops!

This woman's first mistake was using her cell phone while driving. Just another who thinks traffic laws don't apply to them.

When she eventually pulled over, she got out of the car, instead of waiting for an officer to approach.

She appeared agitated.
Her pregnancy was not obvious given she says she was 7 weeks along.
There's a 50-50, she was running her mouth.

Hog tying was obviously over the top excessive force. I am surprised they were not terminated. Then again, we don't know the whole story.
Good level headed post. Over reaction by the headlines as usual. They were over the top in their reactions, but everyone knows not to get out of their vehicle when pulled over.

See this is the crap that is outrageous. These idiot cops get all gung ho on some pregnant lady who they decide isn't obeying their every command and it costs the taxpayers 250K dollars and these same tools aren't fired. I know we'll hear folks say good she got money etc. and for BS like that she deserves it but why aren't people outraged that these cops still have their jobs? It happens all over the country too. They could have killed this woman's baby. Unbelievable.
Not just have their jobs but how come they aren't prosecuted the same as citizens. Do they think they are above the law?

Cops never get prosecuted. But yet they're in charge of prosecuting everyone else. The hypocrisay in this country.
