I just saw on the local news and was dumbstruck. It's set to be debated tomorrow.

Colorado GOP Calls For Armed Security At Businesses « CBS Denver

The bill will require venues (businesses, shopping malls, libraries, etc) that chose not allow patrons to have guns on the premise to hire armed guards. They will have to hire 1 armed guard for every 50 people the venue can accommodate.

To require people to have armed employee's against their wishes is as bad as saying one can not.

As bad? What's wrong with not allowing weapons at your clothing shop or restaurant?

What a stupid idea. The NRA, who controls so much of the Republican Party, is simply interested in selling as many guns as possible because it, as an organization, is controlled by gun makers.
