Rush Limbaugh mentioned this today. It was just said in passing and he didn't go into a lot of detail. He said that John Kerry once appeared on the TV show the Addams Family, playing a character named "Lurch". I can't find any source to confirm this. I have seen the show a few times and I remember a different actor playing that character.

"Rusty" Limbaugh just happened to play the role of Pugsley himself on the Addams Family. Rusty has been forever bitter about being typecast ever since as the chubby loudmouth, while Kerry has moved psat drag to become a successful politician who only lost a presidency to Karl Rove's computer network.

rush nicknamed kerry lurch during the 2004 presidential campaign. to my knowledge he never indicated that kerry actually played the character lurch. and the reason rush nicknamed kerry lurch is because kerrys mannerisms and looks were similar to lurch's.
