just saw some of a documentary called 'Obama 2016'

anyone seen it?

anyway, it says that Obama closed down a load of US domestic oil wells and gave a subsidy to some Latin countries instead, to produce and export their oil (Colombia, I think)

so what's this all about, logic etc..?

Nope, oil production is at record highs. What he did do after the worst oil disaster in the nation's history was review safety rules and increase enforcement to insure the oil companies follow them but given that oil production just keeps going up, up, up it obviously hasn't had much of a negative effect.
