Wildlife Officials Warn Hunters Of Deadly Rabbit Fever « CBS Charlotte

Notice the link above is a simple article about two hunters catching rabbit fever in one state. Not a big deal but look at the last two paragraphs! Why does our government give terrorists ideas? Why even state crap like that in the article? It serves no purpose for the general public and in fact can harm us.

I noticed the same thing on other topics which I'm not going to mention but why do we tell them how to kill us? How can we stop this? I see it all the time in news reports. Thankfully the people that hate us must be stupid because we have told them plenty of things to do already.

I see the photos show a jackrabbit.

When I worked with the Yakima Chicanos we never killed jackrabbits, just cottontails, because it was believed that jackrabbits were deadly.

Anyone know anything about this?

That's interesting. I should know but I haven't seen a jack in years. Use to eat them as a kid and never had problems. I really thinking cooking probably kills that stuff even though the article hints that it doesn't. I assume the article meant 'undercooked' meat.

Jackalopes are the only rabbits that I know of to be dangerous. Ill tempered and mean with those horns, good eating though.

The whole story could have stood on it's own with out the last sentence " “If [the bacteria] were used as a bioweapon, the bacteria would likely be made airborne so they could be inhaled.” It is strange that the writer connects a non common disease with a bio weapon.
