Really? Ummm...I dont see any correlation to the point here. Or does everything always come back to the race card? The Treyvon Martin case required intensive investigation. It was not, exactly, a clear cut case of attack motivated by rape or robbery.
The latter are situations in which leftist types have advocated giving an attacker(s) anything and everything they demand, in lieu of fighting back, in the hope (assumption actually) that you will not be killed.
The premise being, that, no matter what atrocity is perpetrated upon you and yours, grin and bear it, and you will live. If livinv it can be called. Before any verminous scum thinks about violating my precious little lady with me present, madness and mayhem will be the first course. And they would probably rather fight me than her.
Predators like prey that's easy to pull down. They want sheep and goats, not a cape buffalo. Were I to live through an attack, that resulted in my baby being violated and forced to submit, I could not live with myself. She feels the same way. Going to HAVE to kill us. And we are not so easy to ambush either.
There is no paranoia involved here. Just a matter of expecting the unexpected, and being prepared and aware. So, the pacifist approach is not an option. What happens to me is one thing, my precious lady and my son....over my dead body, anx I wont be made dead easy either.

Who said that? I dont see any reference,from a post here, ascribing some sort of immunity from attack, by reason of having a gun. One does not have to have a gun to refuse to be food, and there are no posters here, as yet who said anything about a gun being a magic wand.
