Here we go again, another "I hate cops thread". It gets old. Yes a FEW make mistakes out of the hundreds of thousands, and they are punished or prosecuted.
I don't hate cops, I fear them. I don't want to be afraid to call them if I need help, but I am now.
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe it. At the end of this video it says "How far are we willing to let this go?" I say it's gone too far already, but what can we do? What can we do?
An easy way to start is to stop cooperating with the police. Never call 911. Never answer their questions truthfully. Always waste their time.
You can also spread these videos to your family and friends and encourage them to spread the videos to their family and friends. Encourage them to stop cooperating with police as well.
Police get their strength through citizen's good will. Let's strip them of that and make them naked.
what is going on? I can understand one rogue cop, but not a gang of them all covering for eachother. Then the department and the city cover for them.
We need a zero tolerance policy for them.
How do you know the one you encounter won't be one of these guys? We don't see one on one crimes, they do this in groups with a no-snitch policy.
Watch the video that rebel posted. How many departments would not issue a complaint form? How many times was he intimidated and threatened with arrest for asking for a form, or not wanting to identify himself? Watch it and get back to me.

I see your point now. However, the second video makes me wonder why the man started running. But what is your proposed solution? There has to be law and order.
The problem is we don't know why the cops attacked the guy, maybe he killed one of their own. maybe he killed a little kid. And as said with the second video, why did the guy run?

Why do people run from the police? Because they are afraid. That does not give the police the right to kill them. It appears that people have every right to be fearful of these people in uniform.

That is murder.
Citizens don't get to act out their own vengeance. Cops are no different. The cop should be charged with manslaughter.

There is no simple solution, but I think one would be to hold them more accoutable to the people they serve locally, more community minded. A small force that serves the projects, for example. More neighborhood watch programs, neighborhoods policing themselves. Something that brings this closer to home. Hold the individuals more responsible, as opposed to units and departments. Reward the whistleblowers. Perhaps regular meetings held with our local police and members of the community they serve, like a city council meeting only with the local police force. A smaller more intimate environment built on trust instead of fear and intimidation.
Everything should be videotaped for their own protection as well as ours. If it's not, it's up to them to prove their innocence. No more suspensions with pay while they investigate themselves.
