Why get your feathers all ruffled up ?

The right controlled business while the left controlled education.
Are you not aware of that ?

Ever hear of John Dewey ?

Most conservatives won't admit it, but they'd just want to replace "left wing indoctrination" with "right wing indoctrination". They're irritated because their views aren't given preference over others. They don't actually want kids to think for themselves.

Unless you are using selective reading, the same thing can be said of the liberal leftwing here as well.

Do you actually believe the dung that spews from your "mouth"? It is absolutely mindless drivel.

I disagree with the OP. I haven't been here that long, but by comparison to other forums, there seems to be a much better and fair balanced representation of viewpoints on here.

Just about every other forum is a basketcase of liberalism. For those who are more open minded, this forum makes for a much better exchange of ideas. Normally anywhere else, there is a wolfpack or 'tribal' like mentality of left wing ideology that chases everyone else away. It's pretty refreshing to hear other opinions on the issues.

I've spent a lot of time in lower and higher education and I've never heard partisan talk from any teacher or professor. Not once. Ever. Not even in government glass in high school.

We always focused on things like, you know, chemistry, calculus, grammar, anatomy, physiology, etc

LOL..I'm not talking Democrat vs Republican.

Go read up on John Dewey and the Progressive Reform movement.

Christie might be at 74%, but I'm betting a big chunk of that current approval is from democrats who appreciate his willingness to work with the other side vs. the tea party. who think he's a traitor for doing the same thing. I wouldn't hold that polling up as a sign that he'd win a national election, because in order to appeal to the R base in a primary he's going to have to go negative again or lose. It's sad, but that's what the R base wants. Most reasonable people are sick of the partisan crap. Rahm Emmanual will never win an election any place but a city like Chicago where being abrasive and an a** is a badge of honor. Reasonable people on both sides are sick of the fighting and mud throwing. I just want them all (politicians) to stop the back biting, do their jobs, and get something done for a change.
