Americans are far too selfish to ever become communist. We follow the dictate of Mannon to obtain as much money and possessions as possible as soon as possible.
We will never be communist but we are approching control by corporations and the wealthy plutocrats that own most of the world.

Communist or whatever you want to call does not matter. What matter is economics growth. Economics growth is the the increase in GDP, it is increase in the standard of living. If you compare China and the US, over the last 20 years, China has real grow because their standard of living increased, but US gone really no where. China will catch up the US in standard of living in the next 20 to 30 years.
America will always be a free and democratic republic. We're just going through some growing pains right now. Remember, in the world, America is still young. I still believe in this country and believe it will turn around.
No - we aren't becoming communist. In communism the worker owns the means of production. Don't see that happening here. No, instead we have the big corporations, banks, Wall Street, etc... controlling more and more. They have the power - they own the politicians. The rule of the rich is called a plutocracy. That's what we have.
