This blogger Caleb Howe, a vocal opponent of everything Obamacare, has been receiving lots of aid in online donations for his medical bills. Here's what's wrong with this:

-He touts charity as the preferable alternative to Obamacare. OF COURSE he prefers this solution because he's famous and well-connected. Not a famous blogger and have $100,000 medical debt? Go beg on the streets.
-He's also apparently going to use some or all of the money given for his health towards his daughters' dancing classes (read the last paragraph). WTF?
-The blogger who wrote this article, Dr. Melissa Clouthier, supports using hospital debt paydowns or debt forgiveness, apparently thinking it's along the lines with charitable giving. But guess what, the medical staff isn't going to work for free, so who's actually going to pay for the hospital bills? You guessed it, everyone else who goes to the hospital! Some real fiscal conservatism here . I can't believe this crap.
