Answer this: How do you know for a fact that Zimmerman did not fall backwards and hit his head on the "pavement" rather than having it "beaten" against the pavement? The wounds were very superficial. How do you know that Trayvon didn't punch Zimmerman in the nose, and then Zimmerman stumbled and fell backwards, hitting his head on the pavement? You don't know. You have only Zimmerman's word, and that is one of the disputed "facts" in this case; in other words, that very disputed fact is one of the reasons there is going to be a trial.
This scenario is much more plausible.... I think Zimmerman beat the "F" outta himself on the curb.

No, he didn't. He just scratched the back of his head. All it would take is one good bang against the sidewalk with someone holding his head and hitting it against the cement and his skull would have cracked. The injuries were superficial. The guy "bumped" his head when he fell, IMO.
This whole thing reminds me of the saying, "You may win the trial, but you'll never get
the years of your life back you spent fighting it." How long will this go on? Lord....
Actions have consequences. This case has not taken any longer than any other criminal case. It generally takes about a year after being charged for discovery and trial preparation. The trial is scheduled to start June 10th.

Yep, it's about as plausible as Zimmerman wile "nearly being beaten to death" stopping his screaming at the exact second the gun went off. They are both equally plausible.
SANFORD, Fla. – The neighborhood watch volunteer charged with fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin wants the jury at his trial to be sequestered and for panelists to be able to inspect the crime scene.
Two new reports from state audio experts came to different conclusions about the screams of someone crying for help just before 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot: One said it was Trayvon. The other said some cries more likely came from Trayvon while others more likely came from his shooter, George Zimmerman.

"Zimmerman attorney Mark O'Mara criticized Reich's analysis, and he said he may ask for a trial delay to find an additional expert to rebut him. The defense lawyer said his expert has concluded Zimmerman was the one yelling."
"Two other analysts who studied the recordings for the Sentinel in March 2012 said the screams were not Zimmerman's. At the time of their analysis, and Reich's for the Post, there were no available voice samples of Trayvon."
