How many of you anti-Chavez posters can even place Venezuela on a map?
Why do you cheer the death of Chavez when, in reality, it won't affect you in the slightest?
And do you actually know anything about this guy other than what you read in the propaganda gutter press?
A lot of people die, we don't know them and their actions and lives do not affect us, but we are not sorry for the loss. He was a dictator, if nothing else. Most people do not care for dicators, in case you haven't figured that out. I am sorry he lost his battel with cancer, but I am not sorry to see him gone.
BTW, I am betting most everyone who posts on this forum can find Venzuela on the map, how about you? Can you find it?
Why do you care about how we feel about his death, it doesn't affect you?
It's really disturbing to see how some of these posters were so thrilled that the man lost his life. It really makes you think about the type of people that are around you. And I wonder how many of them claim to be Christians?
I wish Chavez would live... it would show how socialism is always a big huge FAILURE... at least I still have the French Prime Minister to help with that... and yet the liberals keep cheering on socialism...
Nonsense @ "liberals" cheering on socialism. I am not liberal, but I support national self-determination.

Just as we were all so sad to here of Bin Ladens death. The left loons seemed to like that one. Guess they do not like it when its one of their socialist buddies

Sure it will. Venezuela is rich in energy and minerals. Hopefully the new leadership will allow US companies to open up plants there. Hugo also manipulated the price of his oil and that affected world markets.
One group that may be directly affected here is old Joe Kennedy and his Joe4Oil company that gives free heating oil to poor people.

How does this "socialist buddy" compare to the assorted dictators we`ve supported for decades in South and Central America?

Because somehow Chavez and Bin Laden are comparable right? Please. I guess the attitude is that if you don't agree with the U.S. then who cares if you die. SMH...and there was no reason to be "happy" at Bin Laden's death either.
I have friends from Venezuela who have watched their nation tumble down into violent crime (so bad that its unknown in the United States), who watched him scare away investors, the economy is stagnant, no jobs, nothing.
Chavez was a charismatic buffoon.
And this isn't to say that the U.S. hasn't royally screwed up this nation. We need to stay out of it and let the people of that nation sort it out.

Left celebrated Bin Ladens death now act so sanctimonious when a socialist dies castigating anyone who celebrates the death of the man
