Chief White House Calligrapher Gets Paid $96,725 Per Year | Conservative Victory News

Again, more examples of waste by our government during times WE THE PEOPLE have to budget and cut back. Yet Obama and others want us to think there isn't much we can responsibly cut. HOW ABOUT STARTING IN THE WHITE HOUSE?!?!?!?!?

A chief calligrapher and deputy calligraphers with $90k salaries?!?!?!?

What the hell are we doing America? Why are we not demanding our government scale back on positions, salaries, travel, benefits? Government is growing and growing and is wasteful and unsustainable

Please dont give me the usual excuses or defenses. Everything adds up, everything needs to be examined, absolutely everything.

A lot can be done to curb government spending and make government smaller, thus helping insure a prosperous America.

Because an email to your favorite dictators apologizing for America just doesn't have the same "pop".

There is probably someone on staff getting a salary to tend the White House yaht that was eliminated when Nixon left office.

Do they write full time? What exactly do they write all day?

Aren't we at the point where a lot of it could just be done with computers?

Can we start bidding for others that will work cheaper?

Government spending is beyond out of control.

I shouldn't expect Obama to be the one to set an example, but it'd be nice. He'd get favor with me and many. But he is a hypocrite and a tax and spend guy. And yes, I know both sides have been wasteful but responsibility has to start somewhere by someone. And now is the time, with our growing economic and spending issues.

If someone would start this it could spread as we see Americans will be happy and approve.

Among other things, as I understand it, they write out the citations of award which accompany Medals of Honor.

Someone does whatever unimaginable thing it takes to win a Medal of Honor, and you really want to give him a computer print-out to pass on to his children?

Less than $300,000 a year is not too large a sum for a little dignity and decorum in the conduct of our national affairs.

We dont need $300k in salaries for that, plus money spent on supplies. As long as people like you defend waste like this, we our problems will get worse and worse

You may not need it. I do.

Money well-spent, in my opinion. Try again.
