Again, stop being condescending. You're only looking foolish now. You were wrong. Just accept it and move on.
Georgia is in the top five, another blue state??? Florida is also in the top 3, hardly consider it a blue state, aside from Miami and a few other spots, it's all red, especially in congressional races.

Texas has a highest rates and the 2nd highest population so I'm going to make a logical assumption that Texas, a state that generally votes conservative, has the highest women in prison population.

It's funny how people on these forums love to argue semantics when it's obvious they know what is being said.
Yes, I know what is being said. That most female prisoners are incarcerated in blue states. The thread and claim in dispute was about female prison populations, not about female incarceration rates. The ratio of prisoners to total population is not relevant to which states hold the most prisoners. So sorry, but no I am not playing semantics.

The top state is California.

This is getting ridiculous. Florida went for Obama, it is a blue state. Georgia is irrelevant by itself. Are you going to move the goalposts to city council level next?

The top state is blue. Of the top 3 states, 2 are blue. Of the top 5 states, 3 are blue.

The top 10 states by female prisoner population have 3 red states with approximately 34,000 inmates and 7 blue states with approximately 63,000 inmates.

Thus "The majority of women's prison populations appear to be in "blue" states" is true.

Not to mention that every state on that chart is shaded in some shade of blue.

Here, for your benefit, is the thread title: "Women's prison population has grown by 50% since 1995."

Given that it is a prison, there are probally much more substantial fights than those involving pillows,
