are you actually arguing that democrats want to take your guns away for the hell of it ? How would that help democrats ?
Please explain how calling rifles that are NOT assailant weapons, assault weapons is going to do any good?

Please explain why the big to do about rifles, when NO rifles were used ?

Please explain how ANY of the new laws the anti-gunners have proposed would have affected the outcome at Sandy Hook.

I don't think you know much about what really went on, or much about guns.

Please post for us any instance that CNN has aired about a gun used in self defense.

Keep in mind they air when a gun is used illegally ALL the time.

Well, to be fair CNN had extensive coverage when George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin in self defense.

Have you seen the 2 pictures of Martin?

The media, CNN included kept showing his picture when he was 12 YEARS OLD.

The way he looks NOW is FAR different. 6'2' 175 lbs, tattoos etc.

Why do you think they ONLY aired the picture from when he was 12?

Yes I do and I know you were being sarcastic, I know from reading many of your posts your stand on things but, I just wanted to get the point out about the biased agenda driven media.

Cripes, even Justice Scalia doesn't agree with any of you.
Howdja come up with that?

Following 140 years+ of SCOTUS opinion on the right to arms and the 2nd Amendment (two separate, distinct things) if there is any single type of arm that enjoys near absolute protection for civilian possession and use, it is those semi-auto, medium power, detachable mag arms commonly refereed to as "assault weapons".
