I never really understood that. Yes, private jets are expensive, but there are many jobs involved in using them. For one thing, people have to build the jet, run the airport, and do maintenance on the jet.
There are things where I could see that it's reasonable to hate some of the rich, but their airplanes aren't one of them.

It's not the jets...and it's not the people on them. It's the people on them using them to fly to ask for a bail out to continue to pay 6 figure bonuses & pay packages in the $MM range or to get exceptions to why they shouldn't be regulated or broken up b/c they could damage their bottom line. And thus force them to fly...commercial.
Otherwise I love private jets. I love the ease with which they provide transport, the comfort, the ability to leave when I want to. But then again, I don't go around w/ the "woe is me" whine when I have to pay what I'm obligated to pay.
I see negatives comments on the rich and their jets here and there.
On them? Are they on their T Shirts or the sides of the planes?
(Sorry....I never remark on people English or spelling mistakes but this "hate on" "love on" is particularly ignorant sounding.....my rant for the day)

Well I suppose I could say that a person can place their hate on another person... Would that be correct?
...English isn't my first language and people around me use that phrase without a problem and I've seen it written on the newspaper a few times...
