Leave it to the godless party to exploit Easter.

If someone wants to send out a political fundraiser on Easter Sunday I don't see why they need to mention the religious holiday or refrain from sending on the holiday. It has nothing to do with the purpose of the email. This thread is merely false outrage.

For me, Easter is just another day off and has no special significance.

That's fine. But for these pleas to come from those who claim to believe in the tradition and claim to follow a Christian type faith, it does look bad. But then again, maybe they "evolved". After all, what does any tradition or faith values mean anymore if you can just evolve over night to suit your political needs?

First, I don't see where sending an email on Easter calls into question one's faith. I saw plenty of my Christian friends posting on their Facebook pages yesterday.

Second, Do you really think that Nancy Pelosi personally pressed the "send" button?

Third, it only "looks bad" to those who want it to look bad. It's really a non-issue.

As someone who is not a Christian, "Easter" is just a name of a day like "Groundhog Day" or "Hallowe'en" to me.

Just sayin' ...
